Do feelings belong,

Attributed to someone,

Somewhere and sometime?

And where do they sit

At times when life takes its course?

Stored safely away

Ready to pop up

In a brief, chance encounter

That knocks your socks off.

How can it be that

Three decades have passed, and yet

Feelings are still there.
